Pricing: memberships vs credits

A plain-language explanation of xeve.ai recurring memberships, one-time credits, and when each payment model applies.

Last updated

Overview

Xeve.ai uses two main payment models: memberships and credits. They are related, but they are not the same thing.

The stable way to think about xeve.ai pricing is this: memberships unlock broader access to companion features, while credits pay for specific generation-heavy actions and media outputs.

What memberships cover

Membership checkout is the recurring-plan side of xeve.ai. The app offers plan options such as yearly, quarterly, and monthly access under the main all-access membership flow.

Memberships are tied to the companion product itself. In current product flows, they are the relevant purchase path for broader access to interactive character experiences and for some subscription-gated account capabilities.

What credits cover

Credits are the usage-based side of xeve.ai. The credits checkout page sells fixed credit packages, and the app uses those credits to pay for image and video generation.

The generator calculates how many outputs a credit package can fund based on the current image cost and video cost. Video usually costs more than an image, and longer video duration can increase the required credits further.

When each one applies

  • Choose a membership when you want broader ongoing access to xeve.ai companion features.
  • Choose credits when you want to fund media generation actions such as image or video creation.
  • Some users will use both because the product has both a companion-access layer and a media-generation layer.

How to read the site correctly

Product pages do not all sell the same thing. If a page is centered on broader companion access, it usually points toward the membership flow. If a page is centered on image or video generation, it usually points toward the credits flow.

That difference is why this docs page exists. It gives one stable explanation that product pages and future content can link back to instead of re-explaining the pricing model every time.
