OurDream AI in brief, and why people switch

OurDream AI bundles chat, AI images, generated video and voice in one subscription: $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed as $119.88 a year, each with 1,000 DreamCoins a month for media (yearly plans start with 2,000). • Coins run out quickly: standard video costs 100 DreamCoins per 5 seconds and voice calls 50 per minute, so a month's 1,000 coins buy about 50 seconds of video or 20 minutes of calls.
• Media needs a subscription: free users pay 1 DreamCoin per message and cannot generate images or videos, and after you cancel, your images and videos stay blurred until you subscribe again.
• Video is rendered, not present: you describe a clip and wait for it; the character is never on screen reacting while you talk.
• Refunds are narrow: no refund once more than 25% of a purchase is used, and crypto payments cannot be refunded.

The catch: text-first apps go deeper on long storylines, and a filmed character can only do what was filmed with her.

Candy AI covers the same ground as OurDream: ready-made or custom characters in realistic or anime style, voice conversations, generated images and videos, plus a Shorts section of ready-made short series. The billing works the same way too, a subscription with 100 tokens a month for media, so it only fixes the coin problem if Candy's token prices suit how you use it. 3. Joi AI: best for official AI twins of real creators

Joi AI (joi.com) mixes its own characters, community-made ones and "official AI twins" of real creators who partner with the platform, with image and video generators and a public gallery. Its currency is Neurons: on top of Premium, reading a romantic message costs 4 Neurons, a photo view up to 120 and a video view up to 1,900. Secrets AI gives the chat more structure: Secret Shorts are episodic dramas you follow episode by episode, and Scenarios & Reels open a scene that you continue in chat. Its currency is Moments. If memory matters more than media, Kindroid calls itself an AI friend that "listens, remembers, and grows with you". Each Kin keeps the backstory you give it plus long-term memory of past chats, and subscribers get Cascaded Memory, which Kindroid says keeps hundreds of recent messages in view.
